Sure I write for all of you, but I also read lots of articles for you and for me. I like to keep up with the information that is out there about vaginismus, vaginas, sexual health and well-being, and other topics that effect how open and informed we are as a community. Friends love to point me toward things I might find helpful and social media can expose all kinds of information. I want to start sharing some of things that have touched me or informed me.
The below article by Susan Rinkunas talks about different causes of painful sex for people with vaginas. The information is brief for each case, but helpful as an overview. It has a lot of great reminders for all of us and briefly touches upon vaginismus. Thank you to the friend who emailed me the link :) It truly is a wonderful compliment to be thought of when people read about this disorder I have dedicated myself to learning and teaching about.

I am big follower of Thinx and their blog. (In fact as someone who can't use tampons because of vaginismus I am eagerly hoping they will eventually come out with a bathing suit line!) This article by Eileen Kelly continues the conversation I touched upon in my post about my views on women and their periods (read here). Any article that teaches us to love our vaginas is a good read for me and helps me break down some of the negative feelings I have felt toward this part of my own body.
