I can tighten and loosen the muscles in one swift motion now when doing kegel exercises. I still feel that I could be more relaxed though.
Tonight was tough. Everything felt sore. Even with just the very tip of my finger in side my vagina, it was a really uncomfortable sensation. I couldn't go further than that or I would have experienced outright pain. I am proud of myself for recognizing this as just a minor setback and not something to dwell on. Perspective is so important. I did wonder if the soreness could be because my period just ended.
This was fascinating! At first I thought tonight wasn't going to go well, I thought it would be like last time. But as I took a deep breath and patiently and gently felt what was directly beyond the entrance to my vagina I realized I was going in at the "wrong" angle. What I mean to say is that there is a more comfortable angle by which my finger can enter that avoids the more sensitive wrinkles or bumps in there.
I got my finger all the way in. Then I looked into the mirror. I'm not sure what I was imagining before, but suddenly when I saw the simple, unscary fact of my finger being inside my vagina, it looked so much less intimidating. In fact, it looked like it was supposed to be there. Nothing to be afraid of. This thought was very empowering.
Worked out my vagina today, just like I did my body at the gym earlier. Though I am more gentle and not strenuous with my vagina.
I did my exercises right after getting out of the shower, which really helped with the moisture. I could tell immediately that I was more relaxed than normal. I am understanding the contour of my vagina better and my entire finger slips in and out easily. While it is inside not moving, it feels the way water around my body does when skinny dipping. A difficult sensation to describe.
My vagina had more wetness tonight than I have seen before during exercises. Success!
